About

Rabbi Weber is the founder of the Ohr Tzvi Montebello-Monsey shul/learning center, teaches at many Monsey institutions and puts out a weekly parsha article and podcast. He is also Rabbi Emeritus of Toronto’s Clanton Park Synagogue, where he served on Toronto’s beis din, in many areas of community leadership and founded NeXTJeN, an innovative young adults’ program. Rabbi Weber is also the Hudson Valley Resort’s regular Yom Tov scholar in residence and has published and lectured widely – including alongside Prime Minister Netanyahu at Merkaz HaRav’s annual Yom Yerushalayim celebration.
Rabbi Weber’s ability to incorporate historic, scientific and anthropological data into his shiurim and his warmth and passion inspire all those who hear him. And his exposure to many worlds – he studied in Beis Medrash Govoha and at Y.U.’s Revel graduate school and has semicha from Chaim Berlin – and his fluent Hebrew and Yiddish, allow him to connect with all types of people.
He and his wife Leah, a special education teacher, have seven children and have fostered many children, including the Lev Tahor children.
